Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 2025 (First Release)
Introduction
Welcome to Tabily. This privacy policy applies to the Tabily browser extension.
We believe your data belongs to you. This "First Release" of Tabily is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, track, or sell your personal data.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data.
Tabily operates entirely locally on your device. We do not have servers, databases, or analytics trackers that receive your browsing history, tab data, or personal information.
Data Storage
All data generated by Tabily, such as your saved tab groups and
sessions, is stored locally on your device using the Chrome Extension
Storage API (chrome.storage.local).
This data never leaves your browser environment unless you explicitly choose to export or share it (if such features are available in the future).
Permissions
Tabily requires specific permissions to function correctly:
- Tabs: Required to access your open tabs so you can save and organize them.
- Storage: Required to save your tab groups locally on your device.
- Favicon: Required to display the icons of the websites you save, making it easier to identify them.
Third-Party Services
We do not share any data with third-party services, advertisers, or analytics providers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since this is the first release, any future updates will be posted on this page.
